Preamble

The site www.biografygroup.com, hereinafter referred to as “the site”, allows the online reservation of rooms and associated services in the hotels of the Biografy Group group, including:

  • Terrass” Hotel
  • Madison Hotel
  • Bourgogne & Montana Hotel
  • Artus Hotel
  • Buci Hotel
  • Le Pigalle Hotel

The site is published by Biografy Group, with a capital of 27 011 535€, whose head office is located 32, avenue de l'Opéra — 75002 Paris, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 429 706 781. Intra-community VAT FR 55 429 706 781.

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) apply to all bookings made on the site by any customer. Any reservation implies full adherence to these terms and conditions.

Biografy Group reserves the right to change the GTC at any time. The applicable terms and conditions are those in force on the date of the customer's reservation.

Article 1 - Definitions

Customer: Any adult with full legal capacity and making a reservation at Biografy Group hotels.

Services: Services provided by Biografy Group hotels, including accommodation, catering, breakfasts, and all additional services available on the site.

Booking: Action by which the customer undertakes to book one or more services offered by Biografy Group hotels, via the site, by telephone or email.

Booking confirmation: Electronic document sent by Biografy Group confirming the reservation and detailing the services booked.

Extras: Additional services offered by hotels (spa, parking, excursions, etc.).

Website: www.biografygroup.com, the official reservation platform for Biografy Group hotels.

Article 2 - Scope

2.1 Extent

The CGV apply to all bookings made on the site www.biografygroup.com, for all hotels in the group.

2.2 Territory

The services are provided exclusively in Biografy Group establishments.

2.3 Duration

The CGV apply throughout the period when the site is accessible and may be modified without notice. Biografy Group may temporarily or permanently suspend access to the site and services.

2.4 Legal regime

These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law, in particular articles L. 121-16 and following of the Consumer Code.

2.5 Purpose

These terms and conditions define the rights and obligations of customers and Biografy Group in the context of online reservations, by telephone or email.

Article 3 - Booking procedures

  1. Bookings can be made on the site, by phone or email.
  2. The reservation is effective after confirmation by Biografy Group.
  3. The customer must provide accurate and complete information.
  4. Payment can be requested in advance or guaranteed by credit card depending on the rate chosen.

Complement

The rooms are available from 15:00 on the day of arrival (check-in) and must be vacated before 12:00 on the day of departure (check-out). If the departure time is exceeded, additional costs equivalent to one night's stay may be charged.

Article 4 - Prices

  1. The prices are indicated in euros, all taxes included.
  2. Rates may vary depending on season and availability.
  3. Discounts, promotions or special offers are specified at the time of booking.
  4. Rates for children, additional or for multiple occupancy are detailed on the site and/or when confirming the reservation.

Article 5 - Payment

  1. Full payment or deposit according to the terms specified at the time of booking.
  2. Payment methods: bank card, bank transfer or other methods offered by Biografy Group.
  3. Biografy Group reserves the right to cancel any reservation that is not guaranteed or not paid in accordance with the conditions specified.

Article 6 - Cancellation and changes

  1. Cancellation conditions depend on the hotel and the type of rate chosen (refundable, non-refundable, flexible).
  2. Any modification must be made by the customer at the hotel or the site.
  3. Cancellation or modification fees are indicated at the time of booking and on the confirmation.

Article 7 - Confidentiality policy

  1. Customers' personal data is processed in accordance with the RGPD regulations.
  2. Biografy Group only collects the information necessary for the reservation and communication with the customer.
  3. Customers can access, rectify, or delete their data by contacting contact@biografygroup.com.

Article 8 - Responsibility

  1. Biografy Group cannot be held responsible for damages related to the use of the site, incorrect information or service interruptions.
  2. Biografy Group hotels are not responsible for the effects of external events (bad weather, strikes, etc.) on the reservation or the stay.

Article 9 - Force majeure

Biografy Group is not responsible for breaches due to events beyond its control, such as natural disasters, conflicts, epidemics, or government decisions.

Article 10 - Intellectual property

  1. The content of the site (texts, images, logos) is the exclusive property of Biografy Group.
  2. Any total or partial reproduction is prohibited without written permission.

Complement

Any shooting, recording or photography on the premises of Biografy Group Hotels for commercial, promotional or publication purposes is strictly prohibited without prior written authorization. Any unauthorized use may be subject to infringement proceedings in accordance with the Intellectual Property Code.

Article 11 - Disputes and applicable law

  1. The CGV are governed by French law.
  2. Any dispute relating to the reservation will be subject to the jurisdiction of the French courts.
  3. Customers can use a mediator in the event of a dispute that is not resolved amicably.
